Our Story
Long Island Built. Long Island Proud.
We're not a big box trailer dealer. We're a local shop that builds and fixes trailers the right way — with real steel, real welds, and real accountability.
Who We Are
T-Rex Trailers MFG. & Repair, LLC. — Smithtown, NY
T-Rex Trailers MFG. & Repair, LLC. was built on a simple idea: Long Island deserves a trailer shop that actually knows what it's doing. I started as a small fabrication operation and grew into one of the most trusted trailer builders and repair shops on the Island.
T-Rex is family owned and operated so whoever you talk to will be the one fixing your trailer, and we've been serving homeowners, contractors, landscapers, equestrians, and businesses across Long Island for over 10 years. Every trailer that leaves our shop has been built or repaired by the owner who takes pride in his work.
We don't outsource. We don't cut corners. We build what you need, fix what's broken, and stand behind every job we do. That's the T-Rex way. Make your trailer DINO-mite
What We Stand For
Built on These Principles
Honest Work
We tell you what your trailer needs and what it costs — before we start. No surprises, no upsells, no runaround.
Local Roots
We live here. We work here. We know Long Island roads, waterways, and weather. That knowledge goes into every build and repair.
Built to Last
We use quality steel, proper welds, and hardware that holds up. We build and repair trailers that outlast the competition.
Fast Turnaround
We know you need your trailer back. We work efficiently and communicate clearly so you're never left guessing.
